Manuel Gonzalez allegedly approached a 27-year-old woman in the 10200 block of Farragut Court sometime before 8:20 p.m., and attempted to rob her at knifepoint, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
Gonzalez was demanding the woman to hand over her property, but upon noticing a nearby group of bystanders, he fled the scene, police reported.
Police said no injuries were reported, no property was stolen, and though law enforcement searched for Gonzalez with a K-9, he was not found.
Gonzalez was described as a 6'2 Hispanic man, with face and body tattoos, last seen with hair green-tipped hair twists in a ponytail, and a black and blue eye, officials said.
